Elva (Nolan) Morgan passed away at Palemeto Baptist Hospital in Columbia, S.C. on May 28, 2010.

Her daughter Dawn and Sister Elizabeth was by her side during her short battle with cancer. She will be missed by those who followed her posting on the Internet about Harlan County.

She was born October 1941 in Brookside, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Ruby Nolan, husband John (Jack), son Mark and three brothers, Archie, Jackie, and Wilburn Wayne. She is survived by her son Byran (Nevada) and daughters Christine Illinois), Cynthia and Teresa (Nevada), Dawn Keefe (Chris) Blythewood S C). Sister Elizabeth Ligocki (Harv) Nevada, three brothers Bob (Jean) Totz, Ky., Adrian Jr. (Nevada), and Bill Nolan (Cele) Illinois. She is survived by 14 grandchildren, two who were very special to her (Ricky and Cody). No services are planned.

Her ashes will be put to rest with her late husband at the V.A.

Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.

Cremation was at Kornegay and Moseley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Columbia, S.C.
